Will ActiveQuote Ltd share my personal data with anyone else?

On occasion they may need to carry out a soft credit search to assess affordability. Your credit score will not be affected by this. When they no longer need your data to fulfil this service, they will dispose of the details in line with ActiveQuote Ltd’s procedures. We will only pass on your information to the insurers listed on this site. You should consult those insurers privacy policy before entering into a contract of insurance.
To provide you with some of our products or services, we may need to collect and process sensitive personal information about your health and about the health of the other persons you have requested to be a party to the service or product. Retention period
ActiveQuote Ltd will process personal data for as long as you have an active policy and will store the personal data for 7 years thereafter in order to be able to respond fully to any questions or complaints raised by you, evidence that we have treated you fairly, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims in accordance with statutory limitation periods.
ActiveQuote Ltd may store data for longer periods and indefinitely if the personal data is processed solely for archiving purposes in the public interest, scientific or historical research purposes or statistical purposes, subject to the implementation of appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard the rights and freedoms of the data subject - for example, in some cases pseudonymisation may be appropriate. If retaining personal information for archiving purposes, it must not be used for any other purposes. In cases where archiving is considered appropriate the Data Protection Officer should be consulted for advice.

Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.

ActiveQuote Ltd accepts one of each of the following forms of ID when information on your personal data is requested:
