Circle, a private hospital group in the UK, has added a second state of the art hospital to its UK range.
The £600m CircleReading hospital has received full accreditation to treat Choose and Book NHS patients and all major private medical insurers.
CircleReading follows the opening of CircleBath in 2010. Ali Parsa, chief executive of Circle, said:
"Our multiple-award winning hospital in Bath has shown that hospitals can be better. At CircleReading, we want to prove the same to patients in Berkshire."
"Our partnership of local doctors and healthcare professionals has come together with the single aim of setting new standards of clinical excellence and hospital experience."
The new-build hospital will employ almost 100 hospital staff and 110 consultants. Facilities include five digital operating theatres, 50 patient beds and a full range of diagnostic equipment including the latest generation MRI scanner.
Circle hospitals are created with the aim of combining clinical excellence with five star hospitality, and CircleReading has employed two chefs from a Michelin starred restaurant.
