Job Scope:

The Telemarketing Consultant’s has the first contact with a customer, explains the features of ActiveQuote and the benefits of the Advised Sales process, to generate and refer a lead for the Sales Adviser.

The key scope of the role is to make high volume outbound calls on real time and legacy campaigns to meet an expected call and quality target, delivering exceptional customer service.


Responsbilities and Scope:

  • Providing excellent customer service in line with ActiveQuote standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Answer all inbound calls in a proactive and customer focused manner, ensuring that calls are answered and redirected within an agreed service level.
  • Acting as the first point of contact on call campaigns to bolster a customer’s interest and generate a lead for the Sales Advisers.
  • Clearly and concisely explain the features and benefits of ActiveQuote, the Advised Sales Process and our Products.
  • Provide administrative support within the customer journey.
  • Achieve and maintain targets for productivity, quality and compliance.
  • Talk positively about the ActiveQuote brand with customers, raising awareness of full product offering and take advantage of cross sell opportunities.
  • Keep up to date and adhere to the processes and policies of ActiveQuote.
  • Have a high regard for compliance with in a FCA regulated business and adhering to all legislation and regulatory guidelines.
  • Contribute to and follow at all times the firm’s policy on Treating Customers Fairly and be a role model for the ActiveValues.

Education, Qualifications & Training:
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Math’s and English at grade C or above (Essential).
  • Welsh Baccalaureate (desirable).

Previous Experience:
  • Minimum of six months relevant customer service experience (desirable).
  • Experience of working in an outbound Call Centre role (desirable).
  • A background in working within financial services or regulated environment (desirable).

Knowledge:
  • Good IT skills
  • Knowledge of Financial Products  (desirable)

Job Scope:

This is the ideal role for a junior executive to support the Business Development department in a fast-moving business. The successful candidate will not only benefit from fantastic earning potential but will also play a pivotal role in supporting the Partnerships Manager and the future direction of the business.

As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for assisting in identifying and developing new opportunities whilst maintaining and developing some of ActiveQuote’s existing partnerships.


Responsibilities and Duties:
  • To assist in maintaining existing partnerships including:
    1. Day-to day account management e.g. partner meetings; partner reporting; finance/ commission payments; IT development; contract negotiations.
    2. Support in Identifying, developing and driving additional opportunities for existing or new AQ product comparisons. Provide support in developing sales presentations and responses to tenders.
    3. Identify, drive and maintain a calendar of marketing activities for each partner to support lead generation. Work with the Partnerships Manager to develop ideas and deliver content.
    4. Report monthly to the Partnerships Manager on the Business Development Executive’s partnership performance.
  • To support in developing and generating new business by:
    1. Identifying third parties that generate enquiries for AQ products and negotiate as appropriate partnership, white label or affiliate contracts to achieve sustainable relationships, flexible supply volumes, quality and profitability.
    2. Visit and present to potential new partners where business opportunity supports the time and cost of a visit.
    3. Work day-to-day with new partners to test new opportunities, drive up volume and monitor lead quality.
    4. Report to the MD monthly on the progress of new business initiatives, sales performance and ROI.
  • Identify, contact, develop, negotiate contracts and account manage through own initiative and support from the Partnerships Manager:
    1.  IFAs, Brokers and other businesses to introduce leads to ActiveQuote on a profitable basis for any of the products sold by the company.
    2. Other types of partners who can offer profitable partnership with ActiveQuote.
  • Consistently demonstrate a sound understanding of how the TCF principles impact their role, and within the wider Group context including constantly reviewing or raising opportunities to enhance or improve the company’s policies and service.
  • Contributing to setting and achieving the company’s direction and priorities; role modelling the company’s culture, values and desired behaviours. To constantly display and encourage ActiveQuote company values of INTEGRITY, UNITY, INNOVATION and PASSION.
  • Play a supporting role in new product development (NPD).
  • Train partners on the use of ActiveQuote technology as needed.

Educattion, Qualifications & Training:
  • Ideally Degree educated or equivalent.

Previous Experience:
  • Regulated financial services experience is desirable.
  • Previous business development or account management is preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of sales and business development within the financial services industry.

Job Scope:

Reporting to the Development Manager, the SQL DBA will work with the development team to identify and resolve database performance issues as well as embed best practice within the team regarding database development. There will also be aspects of working with the infrastructure team to identify and propose architecture that lends itself to high availability, performance and resilience.

The ideal candidate will have specific experience in optimization of high volume transactional websites and a good mix of skills with regards to database development, architecture and infrastructure.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Managing the availability and performance of the databases that underpin all of the systems.
  • Ensuring appropriate hardware resources are allocated to the databases, to guarantee high resilience and optimum performance.
  • Planning and management of improvements and maintenance of databases to include new releases and upgrades as well as routine maintenance.
  • Providing support to staff in department and end users in order to resolve data issues at all levels.
