Simply Private Health Insurance
Diagnosis and consultation make up the core cover of Simply Private Health, a private medical insurance plan that provides comprehensive health insurance cover. As well as your core cover, you can choose an additional three health cover options from a wide range of procedures and treatment. Simplyhealth also offer a Simply Dental Plan with four levels of cover.
Simply Cash Plan
The Simply Cash Plan from Simplyhealth provides health cover for UK residents aged 18 to 69. It helps budget for trips to the optician, physiotherapist, dentists and other healthcare profession, and will give cash back for check-ups, treatment or an emergency up to annual limits. Over 70’s are covered by their Simply Cash Plan 70 Plus.

| 1850s |
From the mid-nineteenth century communities were able to fund their local hospitals by making a small contribution from their wages. |
| 1872-1935 |
MSHSF (Manchester & Salford Hospital Saturday Fund) was officially established as a hospital saving scheme in 1872. It was followed by and LHF (Leeds Hospital Fund), HSA (Hospital Saving Association) and BCWA (Bristol Contributory Welfare Association) respectively. |
| 1972-1982 |
After the launch of the National Health Service in 1948, HSA Charitable Trust was created in 1972, followed by Medisure a decade later. |
| 1999 |
MSHSF and Healthcare Insurance Alliance merge to form HealthSure Group Ltd. |
| 2002-2008 |
LHF, HSA, BCWA, HealthSure, Totally Active, Remedi and Medisure all join the Group, which was fully regulated by the FSA in 2005. |
| 2009 |
The Group comes together as one Simplyhealth, the company we know today. |
| 2011 |
Simplyhealth announced their decision to purchase Groupama Insurances, a UK healthcare business, subject to regulatory approvals. |
