St Asaph is situated in the county of Denbighshire in the north east of Wales. In the 2001 census St Asaph had a population of 3,491. St Asaph cathedral is the smallest ancient Cathedral in Britain. In March 2012 St Asaph was awarded city status as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
