PruHealth become healthcare partner of Nectar

Published on 01/07/2011

PruHealth have become the healthcare partner of Nectar, giving customers the chance to collect Nectar Points for purchasing healthy food.

PruHealth customers will now collect 10 Nectar points for every £1 spent on healthy food in Sainsbury’s, from a list of over 1,500 products. Customers will also be awarded 1 Vitality point for every £2 spent, in order to promote healthy eating.

In addition, 5,000 Nectar points will be awarded when Nectar customers buy a new PruHealth policy. This means Nectar customers who join PruHealth could potentially collect up to 15,400 Nectar points in the first 12 months, and another 520 Vitality points.

The offer comes after PruHealth’s discovery that a third of British adults want to live more healthily in 2011.

Dr Katie Tryon at PruHealth commented: "We are extremely excited about the possibilities presented by our new partnership with Nectar and our enhanced relationship with Sainsbury’s and look forward to developing further initiatives in the future."
