The NHS is failing to treat elderly patients in England with care, dignity and respect, says the Health Service Ombudsman.
The health service obudsman has today released the results of its ten point study into how the NHS performs in its care for the elderly.
The results are quite shocking highlighting horror stories such as the case where the NHS denied a lady the right to be with her husband when he died, the case where a lady was transferred from a hospital to a care home and arrived bruised & soaked in urine.
