History
On 01 May 2009 BCWA, or the Bristol Contributory Welfare Association, which was founded in 1935, changed their name to Simplyhealth.
They joined the Simplyhealth Group in February 2005 and in December 2006 Remedi was acquired by the Simplyhealth Group as a trading division of BCWA Administration Services Limited.
Founded in 1985, Remedi provides an alternative to traditional health insurance offering bespoke solutions for large companies wishing to fund corporate medical plans for employees by themselves.
Their offering was enhanced in December 2007 with the acquisition of Bristol based Medisure. Established in 1982, Medisure is a leading provider of medical benefits and health risk management services.
